Blossoms Field, de André Teixeira, foi daqueles livros que simplesmente não conseguimos largar.

Uma história empolgante do início ao fim, com tramas e cenários tão bem construídos que, em muitos momentos, senti que fui completamente transportada para dentro daquelas páginas.

Respirei, vivi e senti os dramas de um período tão doloroso quanto o nazismo. Acompanhei, com ansiedade e curiosidade, as investigações de uma jovem determinada a descobrir respostas. E me envolvi com um amor oculto, intenso e cheio de sentimentos — sem entregar spoilers, porque essa é uma história que merece ser descoberta página por página.

André Teixeira constrói uma trama extremamente bem escrita, com vários núcleos que se conectam de uma forma surpreendente e personagens que, aos poucos, passam a fazer parte de nós.

E então chega o final… surpreendente! Daqueles que nos fazem parar por alguns minutos, respirar e pensar: “Uau!”

Mas talvez o maior sentimento tenha vindo depois da última página. Quando terminei, fiquei com aquela sensação de que faltava alguma coisa… Como se eu precisasse descobrir onde iria preencher aqueles momentos que, por tanto tempo, foram de puro deleite ao mergulhar nessa história.

Porque alguns livros terminam quando fechamos a última página. Outros permanecem com a gente.

Until we reach the point of intertwining to unravel “the alliance” “found” “by chance.” Really??? Blossom Fields, a haven of LOVE. Where hearts merge into an alliance for eternity.

I loved your book, which falls under Modern, or rather contemporary, literature. Setting the stories in different chronological moments and putting a story within a story completely corresponds to that literary trend. I also noticed that you did deep research into historical and other facts, which is why it falls under the category of the so-called historical novel, because the facts were not distorted at all. Ultimately, I think it's a little gem and I love discovering what a great, hidden writer you've been until now. The flower images are great!

Blosson Fields is the kind of book that manages to bring together relationships, World War II, Indian Independence, and present-day NY. An intelligent read that hooks us from beginning to end. It's possible to travel right along with the author in the landscape descriptions, not to mention the illustrations which are gorgeous!

Blossom Fields is one of those rare books that makes you read more slowly on purpose, just so the story doesn't end. Every chapter grips you, moves you, and sparks even more curiosity. Between mystery, romance, and a culture portrayed in such a rich and sensitive way, I was completely drawn into the narrative. And when I reached the last page, I didn't just miss the characters—I finished with a full heart and reflecting on life, choices, and everything that truly matters. A read that stays with you long after the end.

There are books that merely tell stories, and there are those that blossom inside us. Blossom Fields is an invitation to feel, to believe, and to realize that, even after the hardest days, life always finds a delicate way to bloom. An intense, sweet, and unforgettable read.

I had the privilege of being the first reader of Light and Shadows. It is a most beautiful book, it has some extremely clever insights, gorgeous scenes, and you travel right along with the characters. It is a rollercoaster of emotions. It makes you feel anger, anguish, hatred, affection, everything you can possibly imagine. It is a wonderful book that deserves to be read. But it is a book that needs to be read calmly; you absorb it little by little, process it little by little, and incorporate it little by little.

Reading Blossom Fields is being transported to times and stories you've heard about, but couldn't imagine what it was actually like to live in that period.

I am a big fan of books that feature a blend of times, between past and present. Blossom Fields takes you to defining moments in world history with a touch of lightness and humor, but without removing the importance and weight of everything that happened.

It was a wonderful surprise for this year! Looking forward to reading the author's next books.

Blossom Fields is the kind of book that you just can't put down. You get obsessed until you finish it. And, as you get closer to the end, you want to read slowly so it doesn't end.
